My Story

My journey into quality and governance wasn't about falling in love with standards; it was about falling in love with what standards could enable: organisations where clarity replaces confusion, where purpose drives action, and where people understand the "why" behind what they do.

Through formal education in leadership and years working across diverse sectors, I've developed a conviction that effective management systems are fundamentally about people, not paperwork. I've seen firsthand how the same ISO procedure can transform one organisation while suffocating another. The difference isn't the standard, it's the social architecture: how you implement it, how you communicate it, and whether you're building something people can believe in.

I've led organisations to achieve zero non-conformities in external audits, not through perfectionism but through building cultures of genuine understanding. I've watched customer complaints drop and transparency rise when systems align with how people actually work. I've helped businesses win contracts they couldn't access before, not just by getting them certified, but by helping them become genuinely better at what they do.

What drives me now is working with leaders who recognise that quality, safety, environmental stewardship, food integrity, and responsible AI aren't separate challenges, they're interconnected expressions of organisational character.
